I was also experiencing resets with my Verizon 7130e and have found what seems to have fixed it for me..
I am using a BT Plantronics 320 headset, the 7130e BB and I was also paired with my BT radio for my laptop.
It seems that when I would end the connection with my laptop, then use my headset, when i turned the headset off I would do a hard reset.
With some testing I have found that if I closed the BB desktop and the BB device manager, then my laptop would disconnect correctly and my headset does not cause a hard reset.
Makes sense, since BT is a one-to-one protocol. If the BB thinks it was still connected to something else it would cause a reset to fix the problem...
Those of you using BT for connection to your desktop and using a BT headset, try to close the BB desktop and the device manager before using your headset. You will notice that when the desktop software is fully closed the LED on the BB will show that you are not connected to the desktop anymore...
Try it, it worked for me !
