Cool Internet access with Blackberry 7100T

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, as a private worldwide traveller I want to be able to carry my email all the time with me and have a mobile phone at the same time.
For example in Airports I want to have private access rather than going to internet cafés.
Now, I bought myself a lovely 7100T, but I can't find how I can get connect to Internet. I have a service provider in both the Netherlands and Mexico, but so far I haven't been able to get connected.
What do I have to do.
regards and thks. Erik

thx for your reply, though I don't wish to make it a modem, but an independent email-device, instead of having to carry along my laptop.

Oh im sorry i didn't understand or read the whole thing....

You dont have it connected to your phone provider? They dont provide you with internet on it? T Mobile im guessing... Because out of the box and connected it goes online and can get email.

As you imagine, I bought the 7100 via Ubid, auction, and doesn't come with the subscription to T-mobile. That's why I don't have any service with them.
I cannot "just" get online through a local Wireless Internet Provider then ?? I specifically need the Blackberry Internet Service ?

Ok,
Well, it is working as a cellphone, though not through T-mobile, but with a local Mexican SIM-card.
Do I need to find a provider for this service ?

the BB will work as a regular cell phone with any compatible sim. You can only use the BlackBerry/RIM functions of the device (email, Pin messaging) with a BlackBerry data plan. Not all carriers have this capability.

ok, understood (both the Dog and the data plan... hehehe). Saw that it´s pretty expensive ($ 40 per month) for just emailing and IM
