Does anyone know whether US T-Mobile customers can use our phones in Canada? Is it considered international roaming? Thank.

Says T-Mo on their site..."Roaming in Alaska and Canada is $0.49 per minute plus applicable long distance charges. Please view coverage maps of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Canada for further details."

I am sure there would be extra charges there too. They don't have good roaming agreements with Canadian carriers, so any use of their network would cost extra. I would suggest you give T-Mo a call and ask them for sure.

I roamed in Canada last year and yes there are data charges, but they really are not that high, cannot remember exactly what it was but not bad. I got all of my emails.
