Default Can I use a UK Consumer Blackberry 7290 with BES?

Please Login to Remove!

We have a number of consumer tariff Blackberry handsets which are connected to the web based blackberry client offered by our UK network (T Mobile and Vodafone)

My question is, If we purchase a BES, can I connect these handsets with no problems?

You would have to have them provisioned for the BES by your providers but after that it would be fine.

Do you mean that I would need to call the mobile provider (T Mobile / Vodafone) and ask them to provision for BES?

I have never had to have my carrier provision a blackberry for webclient vs bes. If you device has OS4 and the BES is v4 just add your exchange account on the BES and do wireless activation. It will be fine.

cd.
