7290 in Canada
Finally, the 7290 is out in Canada offered by Rogers.

$450.00 for a 3 year term.

Wonder if it's worth the upgrade from a 7280.

Why? The ojnly differences are 16 meg more memory (may be useful) and bluetooth. If you plan to use a wireless headset..

It's an incremental upgrade, that's for sure. I'd wait for future models before upgrading a 7280.

P.S: I have ordered 2 7290's for others at my office, will be reporting on how it is when i recieve them monday.

the major reason you may want to upgrade from a 7280 to a 7290 is that the 7290 can be used as a modem for your laptop!!!

the 7280 cannot do this yet...who cares about the memory and the bluetooth!

If you do purchase check eBay first. Just purchased one myself for $485 CDN no contract, no attachments and you don't get jerked into a 3yr. term by Robbers for a bill credit...

BB should just make the modem functionality possible for 7280...or rogers should push them to do it...

there will be more data d/l if people can use their laptops for sure...just the pictures alone would boost the kb downloaded...

DO IT!!!
