Default need help with messenger on my 8703

Please Login to Remove!

i just got it today and it is my first BB. i got it to communicate free through messenger with my gf who is in canada. only problem is that i cant seem to find messgenger on the phone and when i send her a message with her pin it goes to her as an email, and when she added me i tried to DL through the phone it told me that it wasnt compatible. ive looked through google and tried the owners lounge and cant seem to find anything. i cant get the desktop manager either because i am on a mac, but i did get pocketmac syncmanager. please anyone that can help let me know.

yes i have to have to in order to have it through verizon, but i just got it today so maybe it takes a minute???

I'm not sure but delete the app, pull the battery and reinstall the messenger app.

whenever i navigate to that page it says that my device is not compatible or something like that. i dont think that i have software new enough.
