How can I remove my BB 8830 from the corporate enterprise server?

In my opinion, it's the correct way. That way they can delete you from the BES and free up a CAL.

right. forgot about that. then do the policy.bin regedit to get rid of the IT policy...try google. too lazy to type at 1:15AM.

Are you sure you have IT policies? The company I worked for has no polices..I know this because I had remote access to the BES. Anyway when I switched from BES to BIS (to save money on my VZW bill) I just did a data back up and a security wipe (keeping 3rd party apps) I then resent my service books from my VZW intrenet service site. I made sure I sent the books in a certain order, so I'd have my main email as the default (I have 5 mailboxes).

I've not had any issue running BIS for the last 9 months...(after having been on a BES for 15 months)...by the way I had the BES admin remove my user profile after the first month to free up the CAL.
