I just got a 8820 but the wifi doesnt work! I'm trying to connect to my home wifi with a WEP password. But it doesnt seem to be able to connect. Under the "Manage Connections" menu, the wifi option has the yellow ball with the dash in it. Pretty much means not working right?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?? Thank you!

I don't know. I personally never had to troubleshoot wifi. I can tell you there are a lot of threads on this subject back when the 8820 came out. I'm betting you'll find answer in the wifi forum if you search.

Here's some afterthoughts:

1 you've experimented with your wifi profile settings on the blackberry?

2 What about your router? Does it automatically assign IP addresses?

3 for sure you are within range of your router? You can't connect even if you are in the same room?
