Default Allowing Sockets for Google Mobile App...is it safe?

Please Login to Remove!

On the Blackberry 8830 is it safe to allow all sockets to connect? I have installed the google mobile app and it keeps asking me if I want to allow an individual ip address socket. Is it safe just to enable the allow all sockets? If I enable all sockets is that just for google related sockets or for all sockets? This also applies to http and https?

Options -> Security options -> Firewall, disable it and you will not get those prompts anymore.
