I have a Sprint 8830 Blackberry. Recently I traveled to Colombia and expected my 8830 to work there. I have used it in the Carribean with good results. I was told that the 8830 did not work there because it was not provisioned to work on 850/1900 MHz. Is there anything that I can do to make this phone work in Colombia?

8830's GSM frequency is dual band and uses 900/1800 frequency.
