I have a verizon blackberry 8830 always searching for a cdma signal. what can i do on this issue?

Do you have the correct PRL for IT&E? Is your phone set to CDMA mode only?

I'd go back to the nearest VZW store/kiosk.. If you don't have a signal on your phone what good is it..

I think the VZW activation number is *228 and then option 2.

That might help.
8830 -> 8330 -> 9550 -> 9650
Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.
