Default 8820 International Dialing Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I have a T-Mobile 8820 4.5.0 OS. I am unable to get the device to place a "+" (plus) sign for international dialing by holding down the "0" (zero) key. Does anyone have a clue how to get this working like it should be?

Thanks in advance!

Don't press the zero. Press the + sign ("oh" key on the top row).
Don't press shift or <alt> - just the O key. The + will appear.

Thanks! That does work and allow me to input the "+" sign. Any ideas on why holding down the zero key no longer produces the "+" sign?

Because the BlackBerry 88xx has a dedicated + key?

It works by pressing the zero key for other 8820 users at my company. It must be because I am using a later OS than they are.

Wirelessly posted (8820 on WiFi)

It probably is as there are usually small changes in every os update that alter things slightly.
