I have a customer whos blackberry seems to compeletly freeze at random times. None of the keys are functional, except the roll wheel which allows for unlock/menu , neither of which does anything after selected.

I reloaded the OS 4.2 thinking that something was hung up with the software. I then activated with the BES and it worked for a day. Anyhow we tried another blackberry, same model. Same problems.

I'm thinking that the issue is related to something that is drawn down from the server during the activation process or the SIM is going bad ( is that possible ? ).

Any ideas ? Sorry if I didn't provide enough information. Just let me know if anything else is needed. Tommorow I plan to load 4.5 on his BB.

I was at work last night and one of the managers was having the same issue. He has internet and uses GMail full time. He gets emails from work constantally. It worked randomlly and then would just stop and freeze. I looked at it and found that he had zero bytes free. I looked at his email and he had something like 350 emails unread. He had it set so it deletes after 15 days and that was the shortest time in the options. I manually deleted the old ones not read and whalla, now it has 29K free. He has a 2 gig memory chip and it is completely free of any kind of files. We tried to get his mail to be saved on the chip but found no option in GMail. Hope this helps.
