Default multiple calendars - how do I single up?

Please Login to Remove!

Somehow I have 2 calendars working on my ATT 8820. One looks to be associated with my Gmail account which is what I think syncs with my Outlook calendar on my pc. The other is associated with my new ATT email address.

Appts I enter via the 8820 are on the ATT email calendar. Appts from my old BB and on Outlook are on the Gmail calendar. I have duplicate appts showing on the 8820 because both calendars are open?

How can I single them up? Or, can I eliminate one calendar and force a sync with one of them?

Eliminate the AT&T account. Most recommend that you not use this, for a wide variety of reasons. The absence of a spam filter and the fact that the account cannot be read on the desktop are perhaps two of the biggest reasons why people avoid using it too much.

Open the desktop manager once your handheld is connected. Go to BACKUP and RESTORE, ADVANCED, Highlight CALENDER and CALENDER ALL, under Devices Database. With both highlighted 9or one at a time), press the CLEAR button. Disconnect, and reboot the unit. Now Sync.

Best to do a full sync before you do any of this, so as to avoid any potential loss.

Also good to clear out unneeded service books: Options > Advanced Options > Service Book (Look for books ending with [ CICAL ] ) Best to leave one in place as the default service...
