Default 7105t phone but it has 7100 sw? on At&t

Hello,

I just got a used Unlocked Blackberry 7105t, it is in new condition but every now and then it freezes up, i found out it has the Sw for a 7100. I understandthe 7105t is a Tmobile phone but since it was unlocked it should work fine on my At&t, which it generally does. but why does the Sw say it is a 7100. from what I have seen the 7100 and 7105 are different phones, mine has a wheel and the 7100 has a Ball I think? should I try putting the 7105 sw in the phone or is the freezing unrelated?
Basically my question is is the latest SW for the 7100 good for my 7105, or should I reinstall the 7105, and if so How do i do this?
the phone shuts of on it's own and you can only restart by removing the battery, or it will sometimes freeze (showing hour glass forever) when you try to answere or make a call. it may work perfectly fine for a day or 2, then iot freezes or you find out it turned itself off?
OOH all I want is A phone and calander, don't care about web or other "advanced" functions
Help?

The software for the 7100 and 7105 are the same. Only model like that.
It will be slow - it's a very old BB with limited memory.
