Default Message Charges for Yahoo IM messages?

Please Login to Remove!

I was using the IM client on my 7105t for the first time. When I looked at the My.T-Mobile.com website, I notice that my IMs are listed in my messages section.

Why? Aren't I merely transacting data over the internet (I have BB unlimited) and not utilizing the SMS protocol? Will they charge me for each little "lol" and "rotfl"? That's jank!

Talk to me...

Can I avoid this using a 3rd party IM app?
