Default Tried to update OS, crashed my 8800

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, this is my first post, so bear with me, if possible.

I tried to update my 8800 at the BB site today, and it completely crashed my phone.

It turns on with the white screen and hourglass, stays that way for anywhere from 1-10 minutes, logs on, verifies security settings, then shuts off again...only to start up with the white screen and hourglass moments later.

Sometimes, it will actually stay on for 5 minutes before "resetting" again.

I've wiped the BB, and tried to reinstall the OS to no avail, it wont stay on long enough to go through the process.

Any ideas...other than a shotgun blast to the back of the unit?

Do you have a Media Card in the device? Try removing and see if it stops rebooting.
