Default reply from address 7290 Tmobile

Please Login to Remove!

I have added multiple email accounts to my blackberry 7290 with tmobile. But I do not see where I can change the "sent from" address when I "reply" to an email. I can however change the "from" address when I compose a new email.

Is this feature there or not? Could someone please help me out here?

Thank you so much!

Default email addresses

When you compose your email highlight your address under "using" and either click your alt key for a drop down list or click your track wheel and select "change option"

Thanks, Larry. But I was asking when I "reply", not "compose". Is there a way to do it?

No. It goes out on the address it came in from.

If your a BIS (BackBerry Internet Service) customer your most likely going to have to use something such as BBReply to accomplish what your requesting. See attached.

Your main [email address] address will have a "reply to" address that you can change and you have to set it up through the tmo website. All of your other email addresses that you have set will only reply with the same address that you got the email in.

Yes, I set up the "reply to" address with the main [email address]. But everytime I reply to an email, it is always the same "reply to" address despite how many other email accounts I added, and which email I got in.

So I guess I do not understand this part:

All of your other email addresses that you have set will only reply with the same address that you got the email in.

I installed this and when I reply and click on "Set reply to" address, select the address I want, it tells me that "Message is not using Web Client Service. Set Replyto will not work". Is this because tmobile disabled BWC? We are only using the Internet service now, right?

Thanks!

I called tmobile, and tested it again. Sorry, I was wrong. The different replytos work if you setup different email accounts. It did not work because I replied from the "forwarded" mail, not the "popped" mail.

So it works with different Internet Service Email or pop mails setup which pulls every 15 minutes. So that is good enough for me. But for the previous real time forwarding emails, it won't work.

Thanks for all of you who helped.
