Default javascript is not enabled? newbie needs help

searching on the web my blackberry tmoblile unit. my unit will not show a page. i get a window that says "the requested action could not be performed. java script isnot enabled on this handheld. " this statement is not from the web page but from the blackberry unit. what does it mean.. plain language please i am a newbie.

help please. thank you

also. proir to that page the web page said.. your browser must support frames to view this page... this statment came from the web page. can someone explain that for me.. thanks again

ok i just found the menue that allows javascript on the blackberry under options.. however page will still not load .. any ideas... ???
