Default Verizon's 7130e - OS 4.1.0.92

Please Login to Remove!

Just FYI, in case anyone was wondering, the OS available for download is 4.1.0.92 (Apps: 4.1.0.117). The download can be found here:

http://vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry/

However, you need a valid number to get the download.

Can I take the themes off of a 7130, manipulate them using the new theme generator, include ringtones and transfer all of that, plus a bunch of pictures, to my 957 via the serial cable? Huh? Please?

heh. krad, no. the 8700c/8700r software should be out shortly, and that *may* work. a few of us are poised to attempt the load as soon as its available. stay tuned.

if i have the 8700c cd, does it not come with the handheld software?

i am weary about this though.. the 8700c is based on intel processor. I doubt it would work.

it shouldn't come with anything but Desktop Manager 4.1 on the software. you are 100% correct on the Intel processor. we'll just see what happens.

Default BB Desktop 4.1

playin' around with this right now.

during the installation, the communication choices now offer BES/Redirector or BlackBerry Internet Service.

that's definitely an improvement, and hopefully will remove the irritating error notices...

will post more if it's worth it!
