Default Holster

I just bought a 7100g and it's my first BlackBerry, so maybe this is just how things work. But in any case, this thing has to be pushed down as far as it can go before it notices that it's in the holster and shuts off. Then any little bump that moves it at all and it no longer thinks it's holstered.

Is this typical behavior for these, or did I just get a bad case?

I had the same issues with my stock case for my new 7100i. I actually just wiggled the magnet around, and eventually flipped it over, until it performed like it should....

The magnets in my case seem to be attached and won't budge (at least what I assume are the magnets... 2 little round things on the front and back insides of the case under the surface)...

Yes, thats them.... I noticed that my holster had little "rings" where the magnet was supposed to go, but the magnets moved pretty easily away from those rings once I tried a little bit....

I have not used my stock case for this reason. Spend 10-15 bucks and you can get better ones.
