I recently ran into a problem where my BB 7100g slows WAY DOWN. The only indication this is occurring is the rotating hourglass in the middle of the screen. Using the track wheel takes about 5 seconds per click to react (i.e. to go from "Messages" to "Browser"). I also can not accept or place calls, which makes this a total hassle. The last time it did this, the problem lasted about 2 hours and then operation went back to normal. I'm hoping it doesn't last that long again, but I'm currently at 30 minutes.
I also received a message
"Uncaught exception: Process Net_RIM_BB_phone_app(1576) killed due to message queue overflow"
Removing the battery to reset seems to clear problem.
Has anyone experienced the same issue or know what might be causing this erratic behavior (or how to avoid it)? I am running V4.0.0.30 of the Desktop Manager.
