Anyone know if the 8700 will pair with car kit via rSAP bluetooth?

This rSAP accesses you contacts on your sim card.

I don't know yet. I am trying to figure it out for my 2006 BMW 325i.

It appears that it does not transfer the numbers but rather links into the devices address book. Therefore, it is always synched and if you pair a different phone and come within range you get its address book. It is not transferring from the SIM card (at least that is the way it appears to me.)

Maybe that explains why when I make changes in my RAZR they were immediately seen in the BMW Phone listing. Nice work- thank you.

I tried to connect my new 8707v to VW Passat and failed. I did not find any notice about rSAP in the 8707v documentation. Please help.

I have been told that blackberry enterprises will release a download to enable 8707G to connect with Passat using rsap technology. Cannot get any info from blackbery direct.

Hi all,
does anyone have new information about rSAP and 8700 series. My new car will be a VW as well, and up to now a connection is not possible.
Found no hints on blackberry website.
Any comments apreciated.
