| Please Login to Remove! Ok, so I ordered mine on Wednesday at 2p.
It's on its way and should arrive sometime tomorrow via FedEX...but I WON'T be home...nor will anyone at my house.
I left a note on the door begging FedEX to please leave it, or to attempt delivery to either neighbor too, but they are not sure they'll be home either.
Think they'll leave it?
Any advice?
TIA
Jeff

| If the package has a signature required the only way for them to leave the package is for them to have a signed release form from you, that basically leaves them free to drop the package, and have you assume all liability for that package once it is delivered. | | Offline

Jeff | Really depends on the driver. I used to do it all the time with "signature required" deliveries. A note with the shipper's name, your name & address & signature may do it. | | Offline

I actually did that last night! Crossing my fingers!
I have 2 kid soccer games one at 10a and the other at 5:30p and they are 90 minutes from the house, so there is no getting back home between games.
Hopefully it will work!
I also signed up for the e-mail tracking activity, so HOPEFULLY I will actually KNOW what is up via my 7100t while I root my son on!
Jeff

| I really don't understand how Cingular works. I placed an order on Tuesday and they still have no clue where my order is. So I tried to place another order this morning. They started taking the order and then had issues with completing it because they were unable to get the 8700c option to select for order. This put the Cingular rep into a tail spin. So I called my local cingular store and they told me this morning that they were told my RIM they would not be getting them until Dec. 1. (not far away, but also not last Tuesday). I am completely convinced that Cingular hires monkeys. Its great to hear others get theres though. I hope to see my 8700c soon.

| GOT IT!
Snuck home between games, and MINUTES after we got home, it arrived. Apparently my sig is on file too, so I didnt even have to worry.
It's charging now, and almost at 5 bars. Gonna call and activate and head back for game 2.
BTW---They won 5-2...my son had an assist and an undeserved yellow card.

Jeff | Nice moves! Nothin' like getting to know the FedEx dude for future situations. Most of them are cool and will work with you.
Enjoy the game. | | Offline

| I got mine charged it well and now I put one of my office account in Cingular's webclient. To tell you the truth I love the new BIS from T-Mobile because that where i am. but switching to webclient will be hard because I don't get that option of "sent from:" luxary. I will have to think about.
Does anyone knpw how soon Cingular will upgrade their webclient to BIS?
Device is perfect and I have not tried the voice plan because I did not buy voice on this and I am just trying to get it unlocked and then use my T-mo's service on it. | | Offline

Sync'd with my Mac and will get BES set up when office reopens on Monday. So far, so good. Xfered my service from Nextel. This is a lot nicer than the brick Nextel had me using! | | Offline
