Just unlocked 7290 with Bongo-Looking for data solution to new provider

I sent my 7290 to Bongowireless and they unlocked my phone. There website says that once unlocked you can't get data service from a non-blackberry provider. I am now using the phone on Orange in the Dominican Republic. I am wondering if there is any third party software out that solves this problem?
