Tell me if Im wrong; but the 8700 vibrate profile is not as "STRONG" as the 7290.
Any way to adjust it?
or is everybody experiencing this?

I agree! I can hear it vibrate more than I can feel it.

Sure, I have had many 8700c's that I setup for clients of mine, and the vibrate is a little different on each, same with keyboard, some units vibrate stronger, and some keyboards are easier to type meaning some are raised more and some feel harder than others to press...

That is my only complaint is that it does not vibrate as strong as my 7290. That being said, this is still a much better device than the 7290!

This may be good for me, the one thing I hate about my 7290 is how "loud" it vibrates, especially during meetings, I would love a silent vibrate.

After having the 8700c for 2 days, I am really delighted with the "silent" vibrate. I know longer get strange looks during meetings and don't wake up the neighbors in the middle of the night ;)
