I've been lurking for a while and have recently purchased a used 8830 WE. I'm with Telus and for the past 5 days i have not been able to send emails or set up my email accounts via BB.
I was told by Telus tech support that the lovely fellow who owned the BB before me was using BES and the PIN would have to be taken off whatever server he was on. Of course, the man will not call me back so I'm stuck trying to sort this out on my own.
I've downloaded and run the JL_Cmder and restored it which helped remove th password issue however i'm still not able to send emails. I tried resending the servicebook, didn't work either.
Short of throwing this thing out the window is there anything i can do to get it working properly???
Oh, and yes i have a data plan, i am receiving emails - I also can't use my web brower (error 403) and i don't have an icon for email settings...
I am pleading for any help!!!
