Default 8700 Rebates

Please Login to Remove!

My 8700 is on order, but just wanted to confirm I can get both of these rebates, correct? If all this works out, my actual out of pocket price will be about $90

Cingular requires the actual side of the box, but Rim on requires a "copy". So as long as I make a copy for RIM before sending Cingular the real thing, I can get both the $50 and the BlueTooth.

Cingular $50 rebate:

Buy between Nov 6 and Dec 24th
Copy of Receipt
Actual IMEI/proof of purchase (must be cut from box)
(many devices, not just 8700)

I just remembered I never got the two $50 rebates I was suposed to get when I first activated my cingular service in april on my 7290 and my wifes treo650. callin about that now and also finding out if I qualify for this new cingular rebate - will definately do the blackberry free headset one

To top that off, used 7290's are goin for about $150 on ebay and I got an IBM rate of $199.99 for the 8700c! I might end up making money on this

You can still send in the rebate request. Up until Jan 24th I think, provided you bought the phone during the specified time. I'm sending mine in today. Followed the OP's instructions. Hope it works Mitch!

I got my rebate card of $50 from Cingular over the weekend, but not the headset yet.

I would also perfer a check, the card was ok, but when I got down to the end, I had about $1.44 left on it. I went to lunch and asked if they would charge that and then let me pay cash for the remainder, which worked out. I think that is why they do it, they figure a certain percentage of people won't use it all up.

I got the Motorola 820 BT yesterday, on my 50th Birthday. I guess they were just waiting for the right time to send it to me Now, I am not sure what to do with it, I just don't talk that much Maybe I will sell it.
