Default 8700 Rebates

Please Login to Remove!

My 8700 is on order, but just wanted to confirm I can get both of these rebates, correct? If all this works out, my actual out of pocket price will be about $90

Cingular requires the actual side of the box, but Rim on requires a "copy". So as long as I make a copy for RIM before sending Cingular the real thing, I can get both the $50 and the BlueTooth.

Cingular $50 rebate:

Buy between Nov 6 and Dec 24th
Copy of Receipt
Actual IMEI/proof of purchase (must be cut from box)
(many devices, not just 8700)

http://www.eaccess.com/Rebates/Cingu...2012-24-05.pdf

RIM BlueTooth offer:

Buy between Nov 15th and 30th
71xx, 72xx, 8700
copy of upc barcode from box
copy of receipt

I just remembered I never got the two $50 rebates I was suposed to get when I first activated my cingular service in april on my 7290 and my wifes treo650. callin about that now and also finding out if I qualify for this new cingular rebate - will definately do the blackberry free headset one

To top that off, used 7290's are goin for about $150 on ebay and I got an IBM rate of $199.99 for the 8700c! I might end up making money on this

Guys,

Ironically, MSNBC's headline story addresses "Cell phone sellers often stal on givebacks". Check out MSNBC.com or use the link below to the article:

http://redtape.msnbc.com/2006/01/con...ked.html#posts

There seems to be Cingular story halfway down the page.....

You can still send in the rebate request. Up until Jan 24th I think, provided you bought the phone during the specified time. I'm sending mine in today. Followed the OP's instructions. Hope it works Mitch!

I got my rebate card of $50 from Cingular over the weekend, but not the headset yet.

I would also perfer a check, the card was ok, but when I got down to the end, I had about $1.44 left on it. I went to lunch and asked if they would charge that and then let me pay cash for the remainder, which worked out. I think that is why they do it, they figure a certain percentage of people won't use it all up.

I got the Motorola 820 BT yesterday, on my 50th Birthday. I guess they were just waiting for the right time to send it to me Now, I am not sure what to do with it, I just don't talk that much Maybe I will sell it.

Amazon is actually offering a free BlackBerry 8700c after a $150 rebate which you can download right from their site.
