Smile IM and 8700c

Please Login to Remove!

This is my first blackbery and wanted to know what IM clients that support MSN Messenger people recomend for the 8700c. I have read about the IM+ and Verichat, but wasn't sure which is better and if either works on the 8700c since it's new.

Thanks....

im+ seems more reliable so far. Both are very popular. I would install both demos and try them out. Thats what I am doing now.

For AIM try Yak-On, very reliable and straight forward. I have only had constant problems with VeriChat

Boygenius, do the messages used on your aim sessions using the yak-On client come out of your cingular texting plan? The AIM client on my Cingular RAZR works that way. Every message I send out on the AIM client goes against the 2500 texts/month plan I currently have. Also, does anyone think that Cingular wll include an AIM Client for the 8700? T-mobile did it when they upgraded the software on the 7290 a few months ago.

Unhappy

I am giving IM+ a try with the trial version, but the autoconfig doesn't seem to be working. I installed the regular version (non WAP). Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks...

Verichat works on the 8700, but the first line of the text get's clipped do to the screen's layout. I've been using it for over a year on my old 7100g, works well for MSN and looks very good.
