Default Hour Glass on Reminders only

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8830 with 8.2mb free memory, on OS on Sprint's network.

Applications showing in background (ALT-Back key): messages, home screen, browser, call log

When I get appointment reminders my phone vibrates, I pick it up, enter the code to unlock it and then the home screen comes up. then I get about 5 seconds of hour glass, then the reminder comes up, then I open it change the time (maybe from "1 day" to "12hours") click save and then watch it sit there for another 5 seconds. then I'm back to the home screen, but wait there were more reminders so I wait another 5 seconds of hour glass, and then go through the same process again.

This did not used to happen. I had an appointment reminder, and bam! it was there. I clicked save, and bam! then next one would be there waiting for me to deal with it.

I know that some of you may be saying "5 seconds, come on man just deal with it" but it is in fact 5 full seconds (one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand...) it feels like 30 seconds when your in a hurry, and trying to pull up some information and have to deal with these super slow appointment reminders.

everything else runs smoothly, no hour glass or lag, it just pops up when i click on it.

any ideas? anyone else having this issue?

It would annoy me as well.

How many appointment reminders do you have? Maybe cleaning out some old ones, when was the last time you did a battery pull?
8830 -> 8330 -> 9550 -> 9650
Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.
