| Agenda View "bug" in OS 4.1? Please Login to Remove! I am a big fan of the Agenda view in Calendar, but on my 8700c, I notice that when the calendar opens, the current date banner/header is on the BOTTOM and not the top...sometimes I can see one of the days appointments.
On my 7100t the current date header was always at the TOP with all of the days appointments showing.
Is there a setting that I messed up that can reverse this? or is this just a bug in the OS?
Anyone willing to recreate for me on their 8700 so I can stop beating my head against the wall?
TIA
Jeff

| I'm seeing the same thing. I always use "Agenda" view and my 8700 opens to the current appt/day at the bottom of the screen. | | Offline

Current dates appointments ('black banner') should be at the top under the current date/time.
I am using Insight-LIST as my theme.

| Yep, mine, for example, shows today's date at the top in blue and then it shows Thu, Nov 24, 2005 as the top date. Today's date (in black) is at the bottom.
I'm using the Cingular theme. | | Offline

| I'm using Insight-Icon and have the same problem.
Annoying, but not enough to give up the clean Insight for the cluttered Dimension. | | Offline

| I tried it with all the themes available and never got the glitch to go away, making me think this is an OS glitch and not a theme glitch.

BUT, where is your first appointment of today? I'll be on the bottom!
You will see the last few days appointments then the bar for todays appointments and MAYBE the first appointment of the day, but no more than that.

Jeff | Ok, I must be the most retarted person alive since I don't see that problem with mine. I had a 7100G and now an 8700C and I have not encountered that issue 7100 and 8700 format sim rather similar. Maybe you just got a bad batch. Or maybe it's the INTEL OS.

| Same problem here with Insight-Icon as well as Dimension-Icon.
Todays date shows at the bottom of the list, and all of the days appointments are not visable.
Now one thing to note is that I was talking to a Rogers tech yesterday and he said that there is a new OS version coming out on the 29th. He didn't say what it would change, all he said was that it was for bug fixes. | | Offline

| Where can we report this bug?
I know it's not major, but it's a bit annoying.

| I emailed RIM directly about this, but they said that I had to talk to Cingular for any tech support. They were nice enough to note my concern and forward it off to whomever tracks these kinds of things.
I called Cingular, who in turn got a RIM tech on the phone, and they said that there currently is no fix to this.
After using the 7290, this is very annoying to have today's events in the agenda view listed at the bottom. But it does scroll down to the next event after the time for the previous one has passed. Not much, but it's something! | | Offline
