Default Cases for new 8700c?

Please Login to Remove!

I just picked up my new 8700c device 3 days ago and I love it... a BIG upgrade from the 7290 in my opinion.

I was wondering if anyone has found any cases available for this device yet? I'm guessing its still too new because I've spent some time googling it and got nothing, and there are also no cases listed for it on blackberry.com. I would love to perhaps get a leather belt case for this before I scratch the back of it up with the included holster!

The black leather OEM case for the 8700 will show up on the Blackberry.com site first, eh? That's where I've been checking. And I don't even have my 8700 yet. I like my leather case for my 7280. And will have one for my 8700 the day it becomes available.

User rcg is using a sidekick case for his 8700. Says it fits pretty snug and looks good if you don't mind the sidekick logo. Heres the link:

I think I am just going to hang tight until they come out with an OEM leather case for the 8700. Hopefully that's soon.

I am using my Treo 650 horizontal leather case I found at Treo central store. It has a snap for closure and it has clip that slips on your belt which makes it very unlikely to come off! It works great and totally protects my BB 8700.

Just saw a "lambskin" one with magnet and slim clip on eBay when I searched Blackberry 8700c. I don't know anything more about it. Seems expensive at $39.
