Default Scrolling back to edit text

Anyone know if there is a way to scroll back to edit text without deleting it? On the 7290 there were 2 arrow keys that let you scroll back to edit - no such thing on the 8700. Any ideas?

on the older blackberry models we're able to hold down the alt and hit the P / O keys to scroll back and forth to edit text. I know we can hold the alt and use the scroll wheel, but does anyone know of the keys that replaced P / O?
