went x'mas shopping and found the perfect 8700 case. Links of London - http://www.linksoflondon.com/Category.aspx/!4570.0154

Amazing fit, and very stylish - probably the nicest looking case out there.

No digi-cam handy. Case dimensions on paper has to be bigger than 8700, otherwise berry would not fit *duh*

Checked out the link, claims to be a blackberry holder, but didn't mention the magnet.

The problem with a lot of these cases is the magnet...just picked two up from http://cgi.ebay.com/Blackberry-7250-...QQcmdZViewItem

and it is crap...moves around and goes into the "out of holster" profile...falling apart at the seams too...sending them back..also paid 40 bucks for it just 2 weeks ago and it's now at $16.00

this is not the same one. The one you are talking about is teh Gizmo one and he is standing by his product and ahs said that there was a defect on the shioments made before Dec. 20th and he has been making good on his sales. I ordered the one from him and he is sending me the replacement accordingly.

You're right, except that this is the identical case for 24 bucks less...an it is being sold out of a place in Canada as is the Gizmoskin with the exact same shipping fees etc...I'm very sure its the exact same case...in any case, the 2 cases I got a week apart, were complete junk (glue opening at the seams and magnets incorrectly placed) and I am returning them for money back. Yes, he is standing by his sales (better be for that kind of price gouging) but I still PAID shipping both ways . I'll just wait till RIM comes out with their case...

How are you "very sure" it's the exact same case? I ordered the gizmoskin and am expecting it to arrive soon. But the seller has 100% perfect feedback. If his cases were as bad as you say, I doubt that would be his record.

I got http://store.bizshopr.com/spdmon0193.html this one, under $20, feels strudy, magnet works, my 8700 holds a charge for about 4 days just like with the plastic holster. Took a little getting use to the magnet flap, but it hasn't fallen out yet, so that is a great sign, compared to the 4 times it fell out of the plastic holster.

The outside measurements are about 4.25 x 3 x 1, it could be thinner and would feel better, but it is sure allot smaller and closer to a 8700 than this one you are talking about ;)

What I got was the Gizmoskin from them...that's how I am so sure...no doubt he will take them back and refund my money...thats why he has a 100% rating...but as was stated above my post...he admits to having a problem with cases delivered or made before Dec 20...

I just thought I would let you quickly know... This is not the same case I sell. I know this seller (through e-mail)... He is a good guy, but you have to note a couple of things about this case.

1 - It is not real leather, it is PVC. PVC can be high quality and a good fabric, but it will not look and feel the same as real leather... nor will it wear over time quite as nicely.

2 - As you can see by the compatibility this case is being sold for both the 72XX series & the 8700... There is no such case... The magnets are in a different place - Even if someone was to put two sets of sleeper magnets in the case the 72XX requires a different size. I have one case fitted to the 72XX series and another case fitted to the 8700 separately.

In regards to the case I sent you from my first batch… You are right! It was quite frankly crap! I’ve been trying to make it right with everyone and swap them out now that I know about the issue.

Any time a customer is unhappy with a case and wants only a return and refund, I always refund the shipping I charged as part of the credit… Send me a quick note and let me know about the shipping charges on your end also!

Dag nabbit....I just ordered one from this guy (on ebay) and now i hear it wasn't designed for the 8700 as he claims in "perfect fit" and it isn't even leather as he claims. I guess it's going back.
