Default Rookie: Push Email in Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I am new as BB User and still need to know much about it.
As you all may know, if we have email on Yahoo and so on, we can create folders to classify our emails and add filters so that email with specific criteria will be directly saved to specific folder(s).

My question,
Can BB service delivers also emails in such folders? or only emails in INBOX that will be pushed to our handheld?
Few days using it, it seems that only emails in Inbox that being pushed, so how can we set this up?

Thank you so much..

All email goes to the specific "Messages" folder and to a folder specific to that account. Is that what you are asking about?

No, BIS only polls the inbox, not the folders.

Well I guess Nokia Email is much better than BIS. Eventhough it is not so "real time", all emails in folders also being pushed to the handheld (using IMAP service).

Oke if that so, I will disengage the filters and let all messages in Inbox. So I guess, we still have to spend sometime to archive these emails someday in folders. Pfuuh..

Thanks all for the info..

I would rather have real time over folders...

Yeah, I know why you're saying that after using BIS for sometime. Thanks again.
