Default Very slow at SMS send and open??

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there, I'm new to this forum so I apoligise if this has been covered before.

My 7100v (v3.8.0.128, platform, kernel v3.8.0.18) has become very slow lately when sending or opening SMS messages.

It can take 30 seconds after pressing SEND before the send is complete. Similarly opening a message already received can take ages, as can accessing the messages screen.

Has anybody else had this? Any idea whats causing it and what can be done?

I've tried emptying the inbox, makes no difference. And I've made sure I'm in a good signal area when sending - still makes no difference.

Any help would be appreciated - its annoying!

I would recommend trying to upgrade the OS to the newest OS. You can get it from your service provider.

When was the last time it was rebooted? Maybe it just needs a battery pull to refresh everything.
