Has anyone had any issues with their 8700 locking up? I have had mine since friday, over all I have loved it. However 3 times in the past 24 hours the device froze up.

The first time I was looking at new messages, the device froze, I couldn't get it out of the message view screen, the top message was highlighted and scrolling, clicking ect did nothing. I finally held the power key and rebooted, when it restarted everything went back to normal. The next time it froze on the home screen, scrolling did nothing, I tried several keys and nothing made the device do anything different, it just had an icon highlighted and wouldn't move. I finally Restarted again and it worked again. The last time the device froze again on the home screen, I restarted and the screen went white, no cingular logo, no home screen, nothing, not even a hour glass. after about five minutes I took the battery out, put it back in and so far so good (its been about 2 hours since the last freeze)

Each time the whole process was about 5 minutes (trying to account for the possibility that maybe it was just busy), has anyone had or heard of this?

I have also had mine since Friday, no lock ups yet.

Hi, have you done anythng to it? Meaning added any new programs tried to update the software? Is the battery fully charged? Try and think of anything youmight have done even the smalllest thing might have thrown something off. Hope this helps.

Added some photos, and a couple homeade mp3 ringtones - other than that nothing out of the ordinary.
