Default Customised Forms Sync?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey there,

I was trying to sync my contacts which are in a customised form. The Contacts are on an exchange server under Outlook. Although I cant sync the fields of my contacts that are customised. Do I need to install the form first on my blackberry? Or is the Blackberry unable to handle customised Outlook forms?

Many Thanks in advance,
Christian

You cannot install a custom form on the Blackberry. Are you saying that in your Contacts folder under your mailbox in Outlook that the standard contact form has been modified? If this is the case, you may have to change the field mappings using the Desktop Manager. If these contacts are in a public folder, then you don't have much of an option to view them on the blackberry.

cd.

Yes there do are in a Public Folder. The Blackberry actually synchronises all the standand fields in the customised form but simply ignores the newly created ones. If I map the new fields to standard names (e.g Field University to First Name) it works but this sucks since then in Outlook there is a column called First Name instead of University.....Is there really no solution to this? I cant believe nobody else out there is using customised forms!?

Thanks again

Default Custom Forms

I have just created an Outlook Custom Form for my attorneys to use. Is there a way to get the form to be viewable on the Blackberrys?

Thanks
Joy

email it to yourself, cut and paste to auto text(new) and save it as CF (two letters that you would seldom type together) then if you are composing an email for example when you type cf it will auto text the form in.
