Default Will Nextel BB work in South Africa?

7100i is not international. iDEN only Dawg.

Your going to require a GSM device probably your only option for int'l coverage. ATT, Cingular, TMo.

Nextel does offer a rental program for international BB use. Call customer care and they can set you up.

He's correct, but I don't know the pricing...it may cost you an arm and your first born. But hey, if you're going to South Africa, I'm sure it's not gonna put a dent in your pockets.

Just go and buy a used i2000plus as there GSM.Then just make sure they've got agreements in SA.
