Its Like I Never Released The Ptt Button People Can Still Hear Me Up To 20 Sec On The 7100i And I Know My Button Is Not Stuck Cause When I Push The Button The Arrow Will Come Up Real Quick And Go Off . Help Please.

i too have seen this. but reversed. i have heard 5 MINUTES of conversation on my 7100i from my wifes i275 after she two-wayed me. the only reason it stoped is because i hit the end button on my bb and then i was able to two-way her again.
btw: she had no idea it happened till after i told her.

Very weird. This hasn't happened to me yet. My only beef is that the 7100i will cut your DC off in the middle of your conversation. Like right after you release your PTT button, it will end the transmission. Frickin' gremlins...

NOT IF ITS STILL THINKS YOU ARE HOLDING THE PTT BUTTON. SOME BUG IN THE PHONE IS MAKING IT THINK YOU ARE HITTING THE PTT BUTTON BUT YOURE NOT. I GUESS.

I have had the same problem with the 7100i. I always thought it was the people on the other side that kept the button pressed during conversation, but now after reading this I know it's my phone that has the problem. Allthough it doesn't happen often it still sucks.

take your phone to a service center that handles blackberries, if they are as good as me, they will just resolder your ptt button back to the board securely! that is probably your problem, is that the actual switch inside lifted and broke free, and is intermittently connecting! in other words, when you put pressure to the ptt button, it activates, when you release it the connection is still there because the ptt button gets stuck until it moves a little bit, and breaks the connection! let me know what happens!

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE BUT I CALLED BB TS AND THEY TOLD ME TO RE D/L THE BB SOFTWARE AND IT SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM AND SO FAR SO GOOD.BUT IM KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED.
