Different network. A Nextel SIM card (which uses the iDen network) will never work in a 7100t. Get a GSM/GPRS SIM card from T-Mobile or Cingular.

See if someone wants to trade a 7100t for a 7100i. Not very likely, but you never know.

T-Mobile 7100t-- $150 off ebay.
Nextel 7100i-- $180 with two year contract.
Research before a purchase-- PRICELESS :D :D :D :D LOL

just having fun ryan--your best bet will be to re-sell the 7100t and purchase a 7100i, as NJ said you might not have the easiest time getting a trade or anything....

That shouldn't create too much office tension, when your coworker finds out that you're ripping him off. Pat yourself on the back for that one.

^^the carrier (T-Mo or Nextel, etc, etc) has nothing to do with whether or not it will work on a BES. You still have to activate the device with the proper carrier to get any kind of service on it at all. So, if you had T-Mo activate it with at least a data plan, then you would still be able to use it on your BES.
