Hey guys. I have a few (a ton) of questions regarding the Blackberry 7100i.

I've been a nextel subscriber for a little while now, and I have a few basic gripes that I'm hoping a BB will solve. Maybe you guys can help me out a little.

on my Nextel i710, in order to send a text message I have to look the number up in my contacts, memorize it, type it in, and send it two-way. I have no idea if there is a a way around this (besides storing it to the phone, which still takes time). Is the BB much easier for this? and what is MMS compared to Two-Way?

I work in a semi law enforcement capacity ( I have to physically restrain and detain people on a regular basis). Do they make a holster that can fit on a 2 1/2 inch belt and not fall off? Any holsters with a lot of retention (not able to jiggle off while running or tackling) and maybe hard plastic or reenforced somehow?

Is there any RSS reading software?

Is Nextel compatible with Gmail?

My main reason for wanting a Black Berry is the large color screen, email and text messaging and lots of web browsing (mostly news and RSS if possible). Is it worth the money, and the extra 40 bucks for the data service? Or should I just stick with a normal phone?
