Hi,

Users that are not on a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES), must make sure their Blackberry is configured for generic access to the internet.

In bbSpell, confirm that the "Use Blackberry Web Connect" option is checked. Then the device TCP options must be configured. Please see this link for instructions based on your carrier. Users on Nextel or Verizon do not have anything else to configure other than the check box mentioned above. bbSpell does require connectivity to spell check, however it is faster at returning results than a device based solution.

Does this ad version just display banners or something like that?

For 3 days it works unlimitted as if purchased. After 3 days it can be used 3 times/day and displays an ad after spell checking. No ads are ever placed in email content.
