Post New 7100i User - TeamOn/Redirector/???? Help NEW QUESTION

Please Login to Remove!

I created a new account @ the BB Internet Service website. When setting up I put in my AOL SN, PW and got hooked up. Now I recieve all of my emails fine, but I noticed that I get them @ my BB about 5-10mins (sometimes longer) after I get them in my AOL mailbox I learned that this is Push and It Sucks. So I have Outlook getting my AOL & GMail emails. Now what program can I use to forward/redirect/have my BB check my outlook for new emails? That way I figure I can get my AOL emails Faster!! Can this be done? I downloaded TeamON from my BIS. But the thing just sits in the icon section of my desktop and does nothing. When I double click the Icon, it has a space for a user name and password for proxy settings under the "client tab". Do I need a un & pw? Please help! I searched for websites or places to download something that does the same thing for free all over the place. People speak of "Redirector" but place no link on where to get it. I would really like for this to work out. I am using a BB 7100i (nextel), I have Outlook 2002, Windows 2000, and Its a home computer not a work or on a network. I have read Mark Rejhon's Big BlackBerry FAQ List. Thanks in advance.

Using BWC/BIS, your AOL email is polled every 15 minutes. There is no way to change that.

Any email account that you use with BWC/BIS will be polled every 15 minutes, not just AOL--sorry I didn't make that clear. You can use forwarding from your accounts to your blackberry address and it will be immediate, but that is the only way to go about it to get the emails faster....

If you simply use forwarding then you can't reconcile your deletes from your handheld. You'll have to go to your mailbox often to clean it out. Wish there was some way to change the polling time, like in Outlook but....oh well.

What you want can be done, but it will cost you. AOL has no auto-forwarding system in place, but this company can do it for you:

http://www.email-forwarding.biz/

They have various time intervals all the way down to 1 minute polling intervals. But as you can see, it will cost you a bundle. But if it is that important to you, then it may be worth it.

Thanks but that is expensive, BTW I have a new question at the top, didn't want to start another topic and waste space.

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.16)

You should be able to set up a rule to forward all email in your outlook to th bb. Also redirector I strongly recommend AGAINST! But if you want it, delete your Desktop Manager and re-install it you will see when you install it for the option of either BIS DM or BES/Redirector, just watch for it you will see it. pink

THANK YOU!!!

Why is it that BIS only gives me like 50mb of space? Is there a way to get more?
