Question Force a GPRS connection?

Please Login to Remove!

I never had any coverage problems in my house on the 7290 with GPRS. Now with the 8700 Iím constantly loosing EDGE and the unit is showing GSM, which means Iím not getting my email. Also the battery seems to drain quickly in my house, which Iím guessing is from constantly trying to find or hold on to the EDGE signal.

Is there a way to force a GPRS signal on the 8700?

Ken
