Default How Do You Fix This? "device Media Processor Busy?"

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so my last post where i DID fix this problem and my bb was working for about a day normal and fine. I was even playing music this morning on my bb but then afterschool I tried to play my music and it said Device Media Processor Busy, AGAIN I don't understand why it keeps saying that. So before everything happend I upgraded my phone and downloaded the new bbm and eveything worked fine until an hour later this happend. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this problem? maybe go back to the new bbm?

This problem is not related to BBM. It is a problem with newer 8830 OS versions. After seeing that error, I recall youtube video playback still working, as a result, I suspect it is somehow related to a resource management bug in the browser.

It could also just be a problem with the core OS.

I have been able to reproduce this problem by leaving the media player paused for about 10-15 mins while playing a lengthy audio file (15-30mins). After that file finishes playing, no other files will play.

One way to get around this issue is to install an older os version (.138 or .135). The newer versions (.160 and .169) are much more snappy and smooth than .135 (I have not tried .138), but they have that device media error.
