Default Now I finally get it...

After reading this forum for a week now, I finally received by 8700c today, and after getting it setup how I want and playing with it for the better part of the day, all I can say is "Wow".

Now I finally understand what all of you are raving about regarding owning a BB. This thing is incredible.

Do you know if it came directly from Cingular or RIM? Does it say anything on the packaging?

Cingular - we're ditching our cell phones for the I.T. staff here at work and moving to BB.

The only downside is I've spent all day dinking around with it, and am so far behind in my "real" work.

If you are in need of getting and sending email on the go, the Blackberry "pushed" email is not beat by anything.

Enjoy!

I finally get it too;) I also thought it was stupid that people walked around with these bricks on there side and were always playing with their toys (the BB not their other toys I finally took the plung in June in an attempt to rid myself of carrying a laptop into a client site (something many clients hate).

I still don't like it hanging on my hip, and maybe if I can get a good case to slip in my pocket I will be a happy camper. The 8700 is smaller than the 7290 and it might just become another pocket toy

Amen. I've had my 7105t for less than 2 days and I'm thinking I haven't done a darn thing at work since, but browse the BBF. I'm still trying to figure some things out. I pretty much get it, but I think I'm still lacking in the full throttle capabilities dept.

After a full 24 hours, the only thing I found lacking is that it's made for right handed people. That falls under the category of being "my problem", though.
