Angry couple questions about my screen

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, so I'm reading the user manual of my new 7100 t. I'm liking everything so far, when I come across a section about setting up your 'screen saver'. It said to go tools-settings-screen/keyboard and that there should be an option to turn on and off my screen saver. Well no luck. I couldn't find any mention of a screensaver anwhere on my phone! Whats up with that?
I got one more quick question:
That status bar on the top of my screen with the time, date, reception and battery bar...can yiu get rid of that? Or at the very least make it transparent so your background images are visable through it? Any help along these lines would be greatly appreciated.

And finally I would like to thank everyone here...this has been my greatest resource ever since I picked this phone up! watch your backs!

Don't know specifically, but I don't see it on my new 7100e either.

Found the following post which indicates it's not an option, despite what the manual might indicate:

Talking

Yeah my ass backward self found that thread AFTER posting. Thats a trip that they would put it in the manual and not include it on the phone. But lets not get me started on that damn manual though...Thing don't say shit about nothing! ....ok rob breath in, breath out. count to ten...damn...manual...breath...think happy thoughts...
Still would like to know if I ould get rid of the status bar on the top of my home screen. Tried searching around for that and wasn't able to find much of anything on the subject.
Thanx again!

You have a manual? I don't think anything was included (other then a getting started pamphlet) with the Verizon 7130e phone I picked up last week.

Not sure about the top bar- someone with a 7100t can jump in. Maybe there's a theme option to remove it since most of the presentation elements seem to be theme driven at least on my phone.

yeah I probably have to figure out all this 'theme' crap. I am just being lazy and looking for a quick fix.
