Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to download a trial version of Verichat. Needless to say I couldn't get it to work. So I tried to delete the application (both from the handheld and from the desktop) and it would't go awawy. I kept getting the following error...
I also "wiped" my Blackberry 3 times (handheld and device), and the application still remained on my device. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem I'm glad you saved me the trouble of wiping my unit. After 10 emails with Verichat Support they say its a Blackberry firmware error. I emailed blackberry support and they basically told me to screw off since I dont have a service contract with them. You can go the cingular service call route (good luck) and they might open he call with blackberry for you. Please let me know if you do as I am ready to throw this thing against the wall If I cant get this app off.
Ok I was instructed by Cingular to download the latest version of BB software. The website is www.cingular.com/bbdownloads. You must download the software on your PC and then plug your BB up to the computer and load it via application loader. The process was long but it cleared Verichat. On another note, I emailed Verichat support and they said if you download thier software from your handheld, it works like a charm. I'm a little weary though.
