Did you order your unit online? I placed an order at my local Rogers outlet as soon as the Press Release came out a month ago. When I went by two days before launch I asked if I was the first one on the list to get one and they said yes but don’t expect to get the units for a couple of weeks. As soon as I heard that I panicked!!! Went online and did a Hail Mary and ordered online – never got a confirmation that my order was received but 48 hours later the UPS truck showed up with the Unit – that was November 30th. I am still waiting for the invoice so that I can expense it!
I predict there is going to be one wicked shortage for sure! As soon as anyone I know sees my unit they are completely sold! And what is so amazing is that I don’t know about you but with me and my BlackBerries I get really attached to my unit. Each one is always referred to as Old Faithful – they have all been trusted devices and even stuff like the Phone Info “Total Calls – 9:01:59:11” – badge of honour - 9 days of talking on the unit. So for existing users to take a look and then say – yes I will get the new one – that’s a big deal. I mean really I have not idea what it would be like in the States with even the notion that my blackberry service would go off the air because of NTP!
I really hope your unit arrives soon – you will absolutely love love love it!

If I might ask, when did you order the device? I ordered mine on Nov. 28, and they continue to say it's out of stock, but "they'll be getting some soon". Even my friends who work at RIM continue to say the device is in very short supply.
